Invitation: Join the BBC Policy Working Group

As a result of the activities of BBC working groups and the Board of Directors’ strategy meeting this past year, the Building Bridges Coalition has established would like to set up a new Working Group on Policy.  This working group will outline renewed Strategies for the Future of International Volunteer Service and provide a vision to bring people around the world together in meeting our toughest challenges. We’ll lean forward to advance into both the 2030 goals and also draw upon the 2010 Service World plan developed by the BBC a decade ago, which lays out the vision and strategies of ServiceWorld and the effort to build a culture of international volunteer service. Furthermore, the group aims to serve as a platform/resource for the transition underway to a new Biden Administration which has promised to renew global alliances.

The second meeting will take place via Zoom on January 12, 2021. BBC would like to invite all active members including but not limited to those in the fields of policy public policy relations and investor relations and who would like to be involved in this working group’s activities.  We welcome all ideas and suggestions at any time, which may be addressed through a combination of Executive, Congressional or Private Sector BBC actions.  If you have not done so already, please renew your membership before the year ends here.  https://www.buildingbridgescoalition.org/membership/

Commitment: We expect to meet monthly for 2 hours between December – March.
